Daily Update October 17

Actual wagers! The first of the year.

In fact the only wagers are the first two, the others are too small. The y-axis scale is "cents per share". The size of the bars below the axis is the stake. The size of the bars above the axis is the amount we might win. We want the teams on the top to win and the teams on the bottom to lose. The number above the bar is the odds for that team, so the odds for Florida are 53% and the odds for Minnesota are 43%. That's why we win the same amount on Minnesota with a smaller bet -- they are longer odds than Florida. Summary for all previous days, just for curiosity's sake: +0.17 on 44 wagers staking 1.03 on 57 games. That's right, up 17 cents on 103 cents bet, per share. In fact, none of those wagers were placed, due to minimums, but there you go.
